What CV Score does

CV Score tells you what is wrong with your CV before you send it. Upload a PDF and get a free assessment in about 60 seconds across 8 professional categories, computed from 48 individual criteria: contact header, professional summary, work experience, education, skills, layout, language and ATS readiness.

The free assessment

The free result gives you a verdict on whether the document is worth fixing, a percentile, a traffic-light band and issue count per category, one full strength and the headline of the single highest-impact problem. No credit card and no account are needed to start, and the free tier is permanent.

The Fix Report

The one-time Fix Report costs $4.99. It unlocks numeric 0-100 scores per category and overall, every issue with an explanation, rewritten before/after versions of the flagged passages and one verification re-scan. The Job Search Pack ($12.99) includes five unlocks and Lifetime ($29.99) is unlimited. All prices are one-time; there is no subscription.

Methodology and limits

The full rubric, the score bands and the documented limits are published at cvscore.net/methodology. CV Score reviews the document itself: it does not simulate an employer ATS, does not match you to jobs and does not predict interviews. PDFs up to 5 MB and 3 pages are supported, including scanned documents via OCR, and the website is available in 15 languages.

Privacy

CV Score is built by two engineers in Germany and is GDPR compliant. CVs are used only for your own analysis, never for AI training, and can be deleted at any time.
