Best Telegram bots

26 real bots, grouped by what they are for. Each one has its @username, what it does, and whether it is free. Public profiles were checked in October 2026. There is no star rating and no user-count ranking.

Create a bot or stickers

Telegram’s own accounts for making a bot and for making or finding stickers.

  • BotFather @BotFather

Creates a new bot and manages the bots you already own. Send /newbot and it asks for a name and a username. The account is verified.

    Price: Free

  • Stickers @stickers

Creates a sticker pack and shows usage stats for stickers you made. The account is verified.

    Price: Free

  • Sticker @sticker

Find GIFs, videos, and images

These are Telegram’s search bots. Type the @username in a chat to send a result. They do not save a video file from another website. A random “downloader” bot is a common fake, so prefer these usernames.

  • GIF @gif

Searches GIFs. The public name is GIF Search, and Telegram’s docs list @gif for GIF search.

    Price: Free

  • Video @vid

Searches YouTube videos you can send in a chat. The public name is Video Search for YouTube. Opening t.me/youtube currently lands on this same bot.

    Price: Free

  • Pic @pic

Searches images through Yandex. The public name is Yandex Image Search, and Telegram’s docs list @pic.

    Price: Free

  • Bing @bing

Searches images through Bing. The public name is Bing Image Search, and Telegram’s docs list @bing.

Official inline bots for a quick fact in any chat. Type the @username, then your query.

  • Wikipedia @wiki

  • IMDb @imdb

Searches IMDb. The profile says you can type @imdb in any chat, and you do not have to add the bot to the group.

    Price: Free

Translation

Both of these have a public bot profile. Neither profile lists a price.

  • Yandex Translate @YTranslateBot

Translates messages you send to it. The profile says it can translate to other languages.

Price: No price listed on the public profile

  • Babelgram @BabelgramBot

Translates messages in a group, or inline inside a conversation you already have open.

Reminders, mail, and connections

Bots for a reminder, an inbox, GitHub, or a link to another service.

Price: No price listed on the public profile

  • IFTTT @IFTTT

Connects a Telegram group or channel to other services. The account is verified. IFTTT’s Telegram page describes a free plan and paid Pro plans.

Price: Free plan, with paid Pro plans

Group moderation

Add a moderation bot only to a group you admin, and only after the @username matches the one below. Give it admin rights it actually needs.

  • Rose @MissRose_bot

A group moderation bot. Its docs cover warnings, bans, locks, captchas, and welcome messages. The Rose FAQ says the public bot stays free, and custom copies are paid.

Price: Free. Custom copies are paid

  • Group Help @GroupHelpBot

A group management bot. The profile says to add it to your group as an admin.

Price: No price listed on the public profile

  • Shieldy @shieldy_bot

Fights spam in Telegram groups. That is the whole public description.

Price: No price listed on the public profile

RSS and news

Feed readers that post new items into a Telegram chat, group, or channel.

  • The Feed Reader Bot @TheFeedReaderBot

Watches RSS feeds plus X and YouTube accounts, then sends new posts to Telegram. The site offers paid Premium and Elite plans that refresh feeds faster.

Price: Free to start. Premium and Elite are paid

  • El Monitorro @el_monitorro_bot

Reads RSS, Atom, and JSON feeds. Send /subscribe and the feed URL. The project site lists the commands and a donate link, not a subscription.

Price: No price listed on the public profile

  • Grok @grokai

xAI’s verified Grok bot. The profile says it is available to Telegram Premium subscribers.

Telegram can create a poll from the attachment menu in the chat you have open, so a simple poll does not need a bot. Use @vote when you want a bot to make a poll you can share.

  • Vote @vote

Price: No price listed on the public profile

File conversion

Price: No price listed on the public profile

How to find and start a bot safely

  1. In Telegram, use the search box and type the @username. Or open the t.me link from this page in a browser first and read the profile.
  2. Compare the @username character by character. Extra letters, swapped letters, and a missing “bot” suffix are how copycats get clicks. Some real Telegram bots do not end in “bot”, including @gif, @wiki, and @stickers.
  3. A bot profile has a Start button. Telegram does not let a bot message you first. You have to open it, tap Start, or add it to a group.
  4. Bots are created with @BotFather. That does not make every bot safe. It means a stranger who messages you and asks you to “confirm” a bot is not Telegram support.
  5. Never share a login code, a two-step cloud password, or the token @BotFather shows when you create a bot. A normal bot does not need those to chat.
  6. In a group, promote a bot to admin only after the username matches, and only with the permissions that job needs.

Telegram’s own notes on this are in the bot introduction for developers. The search bots are listed on the inline bots page.

FAQ

Built a Telegram bot?

List it on Uno Directory so people can find it with the other tools. A free listing needs a backlink badge. A paid listing goes live without one.
