Your files are read and searched on your Mac, and they are never uploaded to us. With a model on your Mac, you can turn off Wi-Fi and it still answers, and nothing leaves your Mac.

Add folders and files, and Citenook keeps them up to date as they change. It works with PDFs, Word documents, spreadsheets, text and Markdown, recordings, Apple Notes, Obsidian vaults, web pages, YouTube videos and Notion.
Keep each client or project in its own brain so answers never mix them up. When you ask a brain, answers come only from what you've added. If your files don't say something, Citenook tells you instead of guessing.
Write in any app
Select text in any app and press Option + Space to fix it, shorten it, rewrite it or ask about it. Citenook can also learn your writing style from a few of your emails, and you can save steps you repeat as workflows.

Your own AI key: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or OpenRouter. Your request goes straight to the AI company, never through us.
