RemoveText Video

AI-powered video cleanup for text, subtitles, captions, logos and authorized watermarks.

RemoveText Video

RemoveText.video is an online AI video cleanup tool for removing unwanted text and overlays from an existing video while keeping the original framing. It is designed for creators, marketers, editors, and localization teams who need a clean version of footage without rebuilding an entire edit or cropping away useful content.

What you can clean

- Hardcoded subtitles and captions

- Fixed titles, dates, labels, and promotional text

- Logos and watermarks on footage you own or are authorized to edit

How it works

Choose an MP4, MOV, or WebM video up to 100 MB. You can preview the selected video in your browser and review an estimated credit cost before processing. For supported fixed text, automatic detection can help identify a target. You can also select the area to clean manually, which is useful when an overlay moves or needs more precise placement. The selected region is reconstructed instead of simply cropped out, helping preserve the original composition and framing.

Made for existing footage

Remove a hardcoded caption before adding subtitles in another language, update a clip after its on-screen wording changes, clean a date or title from a reusable video, or prepare owned footage for a new campaign or platform. RemoveText.video focuses on video cleanup, with dedicated workflows for text, subtitles, captions, logos, and authorized watermarks rather than serving as a general-purpose video editor.

Preview before processing

The browser-based workflow lets you inspect your video and selected regions before you commit credits. Automatic detection is available for supported fixed text, while manual area selection gives you control over what should be cleaned. The original framing is preserved so the result can remain in the same composition instead of relying on cropping to hide an overlay.

Free trial and practical limits

New users receive 20 one-time trial credits after signing in with Google; no payment card is required. Trial processing supports videos up to 1080p and up to three manually selected areas per video. Paid plans support processing up to 4K and up to ten manual areas. Batch processing is not currently available. Results can vary with background motion and scene complexity, and moving overlays may need manual selection. Higher-resolution videos can require more processing time and credits.
