SeamlessCanvas
Repair images into seamless textures and create repeat patterns online.
SeamlessCanvas is a browser-based workspace for creating seamless textures and repeat patterns. It is designed for graphic and surface designers, game and 3D artists, web creators, and people preparing artwork for print or textiles.
Start from an existing image
Upload a photo, scan, render, artwork or texture. Standard repair blends image boundaries so the asset can repeat across a surface. Safe Auto and Full blend provide different repair approaches, and the direction controls let you work on both axes or only the horizontal or vertical boundary. The standard workflow runs in a browser without desktop software installation.
Inspect the repeat before export
A single image can look convincing while showing an obvious join once repeated. SeamlessCanvas provides Single, 2x2, 3x3 and 5x5 views, with 3x3 as the default. An optional seam guide helps locate the internal joins. Compare the original and repaired result, examine softened details, and check whether a distinctive motif becomes too obvious when repeated.
Use optional AI repair
AI seam repair offers another approach when standard blending leaves an unwanted boundary. It can change texture detail, motif shapes, spacing or color, so users should compare continuity and fidelity before choosing a result. It is an optional step, and results depend on the source image.
Generate from a text prompt
The texture and pattern generators provide a starting point when no source image is available. Explore material ideas such as wood, stone, fabric, paper or concrete, or describe decorative repeat artwork. The texture workflow adds instructions for a square, top-down, evenly distributed surface. Inspect the tiled preview rather than assuming every output is perfectly seamless.
Export and continue your workflow
Download PNG image assets for testing in game environments, 3D materials, websites, mockups, wallpaper, print and textile projects. Available export sizes range from 512px to 4096px. A larger canvas increases image dimensions; it does not create new source detail. Exported images can be incorporated into a creator's normal design or material workflow.
Free access, credits and subscriptions
Free access covers standard repair previews and limited AI repair trials. Signed-in users can perform standard repairs without spending AI credits. A standard result can be unlocked for 2 credits, including all available sizes and repeat downloads. AI seam repair uses 5 credits per successful result, and text-to-texture uses 10 credits per generated image; paid AI results include downloads. One-time credit packs and subscriptions are available. Subscriptions include unlimited single-image exports in every available size, while higher plans add batch workflows. Check https://seamlesscanvas.com/pricing for current prices and plan limits.
Typical uses
A game artist can prepare a repeating wall or floor texture. A surface designer can check the edges of decorative artwork before a fabric or wallpaper test. A web creator can inspect a background texture across a larger tiled area. In each case, the repeat preview is useful for evaluating seams and repeated features before the asset moves into production.
