API-Football

Every plan on the pricing page includes all competitions and the same endpoints. Free is $0 and 100 requests a day, with a season limit the page does not quantify. Pro is $19 a month (7,500 requests a day), Ultra is $29 (75,000), and Mega is $39 (150,000). Listed endpoints include livescore, fixtures, events, lineups, statistics, and pre-match and in-play odds. Expected goals are not named.

football-data.org

Free is €0: 12 competitions (World Cup, Champions League, European Championship, Premier League, Championship, Primera Division, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Eredivisie, Primeira Liga, Brasileiro Série A), fixtures, tables, and delayed scores, at 10 calls a minute. Live scores are €12 a month. Lineups, scorers, cards, and squads start at €29. Standard is €49 for 30 competitions, Advanced €99 for 50, Pro €199 for 100. VAT may apply. 1X2 odds are a €15 add-on. xG is not on the visible plan cards.

Sportmonks

Free covers the Danish Superliga and Scottish Premiership, including play-offs, with no expiry and no card. Docs list 3,000 calls per entity per hour. Starter is €29 a month (€24 yearly) for any 5 leagues. Growth is €99 for 30 leagues, Pro is €249 for 120, and Enterprise is custom for 2,300+ leagues. Plans share fixtures, live scores, events, and lineups. History past three seasons is an add-on. Basic post-match xG starts at €19 a month on Starter. Odds from 50+ bookmakers are listed with no separate price on the plan cards. Paid plans include a 14-day trial; the page conflicts on whether a card is required up front.

SportsDataIO

The soccer trial page names scores, schedules, standings, player stats, and team info, with no credit card. The soccer docs say that trial only returns the UEFA Champions League (competition id 3). The testing guide says trial data is scrambled and that production keys come from sales. Replay is a separate free playback of recorded data. No public soccer price was on these pages. Lineups, events, xG, and bookmaker odds were not spelled out there.

TheSportsDB

A community database for several sports, not a football-only feed. Free is $0 and 30 requests a minute, with most queries limited. The docs say the free key is 123 and that team-name search on it only returns Arsenal. Livescores are not on the free plan. $9 a month adds a 2-minute livescore for soccer, NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL, at 100 requests a minute. $20 a month is 120 requests a minute with no returned-data cap. A lineup lookup is documented. xG and betting odds are not on the pricing page. Annual and lifetime prices are behind toggles and were not captured as numbers.

Opta / Stats Perform

Opta is Stats Perform's data brand. The pricing FAQ says each client gets a quote, and there is no self-serve hobby key or public price on that page. The coverage page describes event data across 3,900+ competitions and 20+ sports. Ask sales what a competition includes for lineups, live events, xG, or odds.

StatsBomb Open Data

Free JSON for research, not a live scores API. competitions.json lists partial seasons, including La Liga, the Champions League, the World Cup, and shorter slices of the Premier League, Serie A, the Bundesliga, and Ligue 1. Matches have events and lineups files, and some have 360 frames. Shot events in the files include statsbomb_xg. There are no odds and no live endpoint in the README. The paid StatsBomb API price is not in that repo.

Sportradar

The soccer overview says one package covers 650+ competitions with real-time scores, collected by on-venue scouts and operators. Documented feeds include live summaries, timelines, lineups, and live probabilities. Account docs describe trials as 30 days, 1,000 requests per rolling 30 days, and 1 query per second. Production price is not published; it is set on an order form. Bookmaker odds are not on the overview.

TheStatsAPI

This is the product on Uno's Football Stats API listing. There is no permanent free plan. Starter, Growth, and Scale each have a 7-day trial and the same endpoints. Starter is $50 a month (100,000 requests, 120 a minute), Growth is $129 (500,000, 300 a minute), and Scale is $379 (5,000,000, 1,000 a minute). Coverage is 150 competitions by default, up to 1,196 on request, with 10 years of history cited for major leagues. Included data is fixtures, results, match and player stats, xG, and pre-match and live odds from Bet365, Pinnacle, Paddy Power, Betfair Sportsbook, and Kambi. Finalized events and xG usually settle within 1–2 hours of full time. Lineups are not named on the pricing section.

How to choose

A hobby project. football-data.org is the simple Premier League read if delayed scores are fine. API-Football's 100 requests a day cover fixtures, lineups, and odds, if the unpublished season limit includes your season. TheSportsDB fits badges and basic lookups, not a live scoreboard. StatsBomb's files are the free way into event data and shot xG for matches already in the repo.

A live app. API-Football Pro at $19 a month is the lowest published price that includes livescore and lineups on every competition in the plan. football-data.org is €12 for live scores and €29 for lineups, still on 12 competitions until Standard at €49. Sportmonks Starter at €29 lets you pick five leagues. TheStatsAPI at $50 already includes xG and odds.

Betting or analytics. API-Football includes both odds types on the free plan, inside the daily cap. football-data.org charges €15 extra for 1X2 odds. Sportmonks charges extra for xG. TheStatsAPI bundles xG and five bookmakers from $50. Sportradar and Opta are the quote-based feeds. StatsBomb open data is for models on past matches, not a live bet.

Uno lists this product as Football Stats API, which points at TheStatsAPI. Use the provider page for the price.

A free listing needs a backlink badge. A paid listing goes live without one.
